Grow Club

What is DFGC?

As a grower collective, we have created a safe and discreet platform where people have access to a wide range of plant materials, trusted nutrients, grow aids and selected hardware. We also give advice and answer popular questions on a wider stage, safe from opportunists, scammers, and trolls.

Our Growing Q&A WhatsApp Group consists of members with varying degrees of experience and an eagerness to share what they’ve learned over the years. We help each other grow.

What we offer

Genetics

Our range of mother plants have become legendary, with many home growers relying on our plants to get them onto Instagram and fill their jars with joy. We do plenty of our own pheno selection, but most of the work is done through our generous network of enthusiasts. Our close link with Qure Analytics ensures proper verification of Cannabinoid ratios and claimed percentages. We also flower all plants under harsh conditions to select for pest and disease resistance and vigour. We offer plants in a range of sizes and grow mediums. We use a combination of organic, biodynamic, permaculture and biological farming practices to bring our growers energetic plants that vibrate health.

Hardware

We are building relations with local developers of grow technology to showcase and test their products. Some of our current products include grow lights and advanced air pots. This range will be ever expanding as we get to test locally developed and outstanding imported technology. We will never endorse a product unless we have tested it ourselves extensively.

Plant health

Through years of work in ornamental and Cannabis horticulture, we have selected and often helped develop a range of nutrient solutions and grow aids from various suppliers. We have the ability to offer these products to our club members in labelled or decanted form at a very good price. We also have reseller agreements in place with a range of biological, organic and conventional pest control and advanced plant health product suppliers. A selection of tried and tested products will be available to members at a discounted rate.

Education & Events

Our founder, Natie Ferreira, has become well-known in the Cannabis Industry as someone carrying a wealth of knowledge. Working closely with him has equipped our team, and this expanding wealth of information will be available on a closed, private, group chat as well as during arranged nursery visits. Members can also look forward to short training courses, interest days, members-only nursery open days and promotions on consulting services.

FAQ

Since buying or selling of Cannabis plants is not currently legal in South Africa, we offer our plants up for adoption (we want to see as many people as possible growing their own). We charge an adoption fee that covers our costs such as time, effort, skill, soil, nutrients, etc.

  1. Decide which strains you want based on our latest adoption surplus list.
  2. Contact us to keep those plants aside for you.
  3. Arrange collection/delivery.
  4. Pay the adoption fee (and delivery fee if applicable) on collection/delivery.

We have an adoption surplus list that we update weekly on a Sunday. Join our WhatsApp Group, Telegram Channel or Email List to have it sent directly to you every week, or keep an eye on @DaggaFarmacy on Facebook or Instagram as we post it there as well.

Adoption fees:

  • Small plants = R150 each
  • Medium plants = R300 each
  • Large plants = R550 each

We accept cash and EFT. Please let us know if we should send you bank details.

We are based in Paarl, and we can deliver to Cape Town and the Boland at R200 delivery fee. Please enquire for deliveries further afield in the Cape Winelands.

Yes! Let us know when you would like to come through, and we will send you location details. We grow from home, so we value our privacy and only make our location available to you when you have arranged a day and approximate time. We are based in Paarl.

We prefer not to courier plants but we are willing to package the plants at a reasonable packaging fee if you arrange the courier yourself. Please note that both the cost and risk of shipping live plants across the country is yours.
