Each fruit-flavoured FLOW gummy is infused with 30mg full-spectrum Sceletium tortuosum extract.

Sceletium tortuosum is a succulent plant commonly found in South Africa, which is also known as Kanna or Kougoed (prepared from ‘fermenting’ S. tortuosum)—which literally means, ‘chew(able) things’ or ‘something to chew’.

Part of the subfamily, Mesembryanthemoideae, S. tortuosum contains mesembrine and the related alkaloids mesembranol and mesembranone. Mesembrine is known for its effects on the central nervous system. The compounds also act as serotonin reuptake inhibitors, and in specified doses act as anti-depressants, minor tranquillisers and anxiolytics used in the treatment of mild to moderate depression, psychological and psychiatric disorders where anxiety is present, major depressive episodes, alcohol and drug dependence, bulimia nervosa, and obsessive-compulsive disorders (U.S.Patent 6 288 104).

Smith et al. (1996) review the data about Sceletium accumulated over 300 years; they record the original folk methods for preparing ‘kougoed’ and document its psychoactive properties by reporting on the experiences of several test subjects.

Each fruit-flavoured THINK gummy is infused with 20mg full-spectrum CBD-A (Cannabis sativa) extract.

Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), is a cannabinoid found in the Cannabis plant. It is the chemical precursor to cannabidiol (CBD) which is derived through the process of decarboxylation.

CBDA interacts with the endocannabinoid system to relieve inflammation and associated pain. It has greater bioavailability than CBD, which allows the body to metabolise the compound faster and more easily. Studies have shown CBDA to effectively reduce nausea and vomiting.

Since buying or selling of Cannabis plants is not currently legal in South Africa, we offer our plants up for adoption (we want to see as many people as possible growing their own). We charge an adoption fee that covers our costs such as time, effort, skill, soil, nutrients, etc.

  1. Decide which strains you want based on our latest adoption surplus list.
  2. Contact us to keep those plants aside for you.
  3. Arrange collection/delivery.
  4. Pay the adoption fee (and delivery fee if applicable) on collection/delivery.

We have an adoption surplus list that we update weekly on a Sunday. Join our WhatsApp Group, Telegram Channel or Email List to have it sent directly to you every week, or keep an eye on @DaggaFarmacy on Facebook or Instagram as we post it there as well.
